Former Boston Celtics Co-Captain Antione Walker wants to end his career as a Boston Celtics. I’ve spoken to a source close to Antione Walker and this source as told me that Walker is unhappy in Miami and he wants to come back to Boston.  I was told Antione has place calls to his agent to see what he could do to make something happen. Antione also has reached out to Paul Pierce I was told mostly to congratulate Paul on KG trade and also to tell him that he would love to come back home to finish what he and Paul started.Â

I was told tonight by a person who is very close to Antione Walker. This person told me that Walker want to come back to Boston. I even have reason to believe that the Celtics already know this.

Even though I’m not the biggest fan of Antoine’s game, I always loved how hard he played and how he LOVED being a Boston Celtic…I bet Danny would bring him back if it was good for the team–I just don’t see Ainge being sentimental about it though, it would have to be under certain conditions….Danny has come too far and would be risking it all, just to watch Walker try to make this his team once again….I’d almost rather bring back Walter.

Jim I agree with you. I even told my source that I don’t see anyway Antione could get out his contract. Riley isn’t going to help out the Boston Celtics by cutting Antione and letting him go to Boston. So yeah it nice that Antione wants to come back but I don’t see it happening.

Hi, I’m a heat fan and the only way a trade could be worked out is if you gave us Kendrick Perkins and Brian Scalabrine, and we would give you Walker and one of our bums that has little salary…and Miami has no intention of buying out Walkers contract…so a trade would be the only way it would work…and this trade is a little lopsided so I dont think anything will happen.

Walker has had time starting on the bench and has won a ring which brings experience and it makes him a role player, something the Celtics need. it really matters though what we can offer for him. Now there is no way Ainge will offer anyone from the starting five. The best Ainge is going to offer is Scal and possibly House, or he could be waived by Miami. I think Toine could help us with the east and possibly the whole thing if we are able to stay healthy.

Basketball-reference has him on the books at making $90,957,900 so far…so money really shouldn’t be an issue. He’d have a better shot at a title in Boston than Miami, maybe he’d work a buyout with Miami (I’m sure you wouldn’t have to twist their arm)

You guys need to relax…all CT was reporting is that Antoine wants to come back to Boston (which I COMPLETELY believe.) Why wouldn’t he want to? He was a fan favorite in Boston, he obviously liked it here, and we’re a lot closer to a title than Miami.
It’s not as if CT is saying the Celtics are pursuing Antoine, that’d be a different story.

first off i must say im not sure about this “source.” If you look at the headlines you got Antoine’s name wrong. Its Antoine, not Antione. That doesn’t seem very professional to me, but that being said i do hope we get Toine back cuz that would be pretty cool. Bring back the wiggle to boston.
